Air Blitz

The Air Blitz feed cannon works within a similar feeding distance to our well-proven Blitz water cannons

The hopper has a capacity of 50kg (or optional 75kg). A unique eductor design pulls feed down from the hopper into the air blast and shoots the pellets through a flexible hose to all points of the pen surface within range. Feed flow is controlled by a simple slide gate valve accessible through a port in the side of the feeder body. In still air conditions, the feeding distance will be around twelve to fifteen metres, depending on the size of pellet being fed. The Air Blitz is particularly well suited to feeding Mediterranean species, such as sea bass and bream.

The feeder is built around a one-piece aluminium body with a built-in hopper. The engine is positioned behind the hopper on a low vibration cushion mounted base assembly. The blower is mounted below it, ensuring constant tension of the drive belts and easy adjustment. A choice of engines is available, either diesel or gasoline fuelled.

Air Blitz – simple, easy-to-use, lightweight, reliable and excellent value-for-money. Phone or email Norfab for more information and a quote.

Client Feedback

It is nice to see the silage work continuing. We have a lot of positive feedback from growers on your assistance setting up the systems, and your training of the work crews here in Nfld. It was great to hear! I think the buy-in of the work crew can make or break a project no matter how strong the concept is.

I have been using the Supermort model for approx. 10 years on four individual units on different salmon sites. I have found the structure of this unit to be very robust and capable of withstanding pretty much anything you can throw at it.
